About me

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I grew up with a passion for soccer and for Vasco da Gama football club. My relationship with cameras was initially limited, as I wasn’t allowed to use them much (mostly because I used to throw things from our balcony). As I got older, I began to appreciate movies and their soundtracks more deeply. My favorites are Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer.

After coming to the United States to study film and play soccer, I made the difficult decision to stop playing soccer in order to focus on creating documentary content for the team. Although most of my work has been in sports, my long-term goal is also to work in film.
